RALLY AGAINST SHELL’S ABUSES IN NIGERIA MAY 27TH
Posted in Events on 27. May, 2009
Please Join us on Wednesday May 27th for a rally against Shell Oil!
What: Rally to demand Shell end abuses in Nigeria
When: Noon, Wednesday, May 27th
Where: Foley Square, across (near City Hall)
Why: Because Shell doesn’t want you there
Who: You, and your friends.
Background: Multinational oil giant Royal Dutch Shell will finally answer to charges for its role in atrocities committed against the Ogoni people of Nigeria, including conspiring with the Nigerian military government to bring about the execution of human rights and environmental justice leader Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight of his colleagues. Sadly, it’s even more important because it comes at a time when violence by the Nigerian military is escalating against oil-afflicted communities. For more info go to http://wiwavshell.org/

Wow good times. That protest went great!
Yeah that was a good one!
Where’s that campaign at?
This is the kind of entry that I’m looking for. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your future entries.
That is some inspirational stuff. Never knew that opinions could be this varied. Thanks for all the enthusiasm to offer such helpful information here.
